Made from lightweight cotton and finished with a quality silver buckle, the strap is comfortable, practical and easy to fit. It is designed to help hold the Pee Wee Bit securely in position—it does not create curb action or place pressure beneath your horse’s chin.

How to fit the strap:

Attach the strap at the designated chin-strap points and pass it beneath the horse’s lower jaw. Adjust it so it rests comfortably without being tight or applying chin pressure. You should be able to fit a finger between the strap and the horse’s jaw. Check that the buckle is secure and that the strap is not twisted.

The Pee Wee Bit itself should sit low and passively in the mouth, with only a slight bulge—not wrinkles—at the corners of the lips. The mouthpiece should remain parallel to the ground, allowing it to move naturally as the horse chews and swallows.
