On the weekend I went to my Local club meet. I was delighted that Sarah with her beautiful Clydesdale cross was happy for me to try on the Innovative Equestrian Bridle. I had been asked if it would fit another lady’s big Clydie cross. Well, Danny was just the best model. His lovely quiet temperament was a breeze to work with. I fitted him up with the Large Pee Wee Horse Bit as well. I was amazed it fit Danny as he stands about 16.3 hh and does have a really big head. The amazing aspect I am finding with the bridle is that it fits on so many different sizes as the throat latch is positioned over the horse’s cheek rather than their jaw.
I used our 18inch custom brow-band for this arrangement as he is a big boy. I love how the bridle has a soft feel on the horse’s face as well as a padded brow-band. Sarah and Danny rode their two adult riding club classes wearing the Innovative Equestrian Bridle. Then it was my time to get out and about. I have been trail riding over the cooler months yet I had stopped going to my Club. I guess I like going out and about knowing that the weather is a bit warmer.
I was super impressed with Tally. Our first-class was baby jumps and although Tally felt fresh and excited for the first trot out, I concentrated on really softening my body and hands and imagined laughing and eating ice-cream with my kids. I find when I think of something completely different, I can relax my body. I was delighted when Tally relaxed and we cantered over the small jumps. The instructor was directing me to find the straight line through the jump. It was a great day of learning and fine-tuning as I know that these lessons will help us when we are on the trails.
So, if you’re hesitant about joining a club I would recommend you just take the leap of faith and do it.
